NSC - Capacitive Level Switch for Bulk Media

Brand: KOBOLD Instruments, Inc

KOBOLD NSC level monitors are used for minimum and maximum levels in silos and storage bins.

They utilize the capacitive principle and can be supplied in two different designs for various installation conditions.

The NSC-R is supplied with a rigid stainless steel probe and a PTFE coating and is mostly used for monitoring maximum levels.

For small silos and low bulk densities, the shorter version can be installed on the side for controlling the minimum level.

The NSC-C consists of a stainless steel probe connected by a polypropylene-clad steel cable.

The cable can be shortened, making adaptation to changing application conditions very simple.

This type is usually used to control the maximum level, but can also be used for the minimum level for low bulk densities.

The sensitivity can also be adjusted via a DIP-switch and potentiometer to meet various media and silo requirements.
